The first Labrador Flight to the North Pole
For the first time, PAL Airlines brought its longstanding Flight to the North Pole tradition to Labrador, departing from Goose Bay Airport and delivering holiday magic to local families. This special event gave children from across the region the chance to “fly” to the North Pole, meet Santa, and receive gifts in an unforgettable experience.
In partnership with Air Borealis, the inaugural Labrador flight welcomed 18 children from communities across the region, including the North Coast. Accompanied by parents or guardians, the young passengers boarded a PAL Airlines Dash-8 aircraft for a festive journey unlike any other.
Before takeoff, Goose Bay Airport was transformed into a hub of holiday cheer. Families enjoyed activities such as photo and video booths, colouring stations, music, and treats-all setting the stage for the magical adventure ahead.
The first Labrador Flight to the North Pole was a resounding success, marking an exciting expansion of PAL Airlines’ cherished holiday tradition.
