The Goose Bay Airport Corporation is a not-for-profit organization governed by an eleven-member Board of Directors composed of local community representatives.
Its mandate is to:
- Manage, operate, and develop the airport in a safe, secure, efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible manner.
- Promote the development of airport lands for uses that are compatible with aviation activities.
- Support the growth of transportation infrastructure and economic activity in ways that align with the airport’s long-term mission.
GBAC maintains regular communication with local communities and partners to ensure airport development reflects the region’s values, priorities, and opportunities.
