The Goose Bay Airport Corporation is pleased to share the Goose Bay Airport 2025 Master Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plan is a flexible, 20-year framework that prepares YYR for a period of growth driven by major hydro, defence, and resource projects across Labrador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Gull Island, the Churchill Falls expansion, and the NORAD Northern Basing Initiative on the horizon, YYR is heading into a period of significant growth. The plan sets out a flexible approach that expands the airport as demand arrives, rather than on fixed dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It covers terminal improvements, a new “Labrador Coastal Gateway” for coastal travellers, expanded parking, and future land use at the airport and Otter Creek. All of it is planned in close coordination with CFB 5 Wing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to the airlines, agencies, community partners, and stakeholders who helped shape the plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
